We Need your Plants!!!

Plant Stall

One of the pleasures of VHS meetings is checking out the Plant Stall for treasured and common plants alike. You have those plants in your gardens so why not cut off a few divisions or transplant seedlings and bring them in. If you are propagating plants for yourself, grow on a few extra for the Plant Stall and we'll all benefit.  The VHS offers the added bonus of giving income tax receipts for donated plants and materials.  These must be listed on the sheets provided by the Plant Stall or printed from the VHS web site.

Medium-sized golden bamboo [P. aurea] and two junipers, free to good homes. Currently in large pots so they should be easy to move and replant.

Free Horse Manure

Free Horse Manure in North Saanich.

Manure is from very healthy, well fed, spoiled show horses.

Does have a bit of  fir hogfuel mixed in, but no other materials or wastes.

Will break down quickly into compost.

I am hoping people will come on a regular basis to take some away.
